Working in United Arab Emirates

The United Arab Emirates is not an island, but its coastal lifestyle, warm climate and international communities make it attractive for hospitality workers. Dubai and Abu Dhabi offer opportunities in hotels, restaurants, tourism, events, retail and facilities management, with luxury properties frequently recruiting experienced technicians and service staff. The culture combines Emirati traditions, Islamic values and a large expatriate population; respectful dress and behaviour are expected, especially during Ramadan. Lifestyle options include beaches, shopping, dining, desert excursions and water sports, although summers are extremely hot. Most foreign employees require employer-sponsored residence and work visas. Employers commonly arrange medical testing, Emirates ID processing and sometimes accommodation, transport, insurance and return flights. Relocating candidates should verify the full package, contract terms and probation conditions, budget for deposits and personal expenses, and bring attested qualifications where required.
