The role is likely to involve logging and managing incidents, troubleshooting problems, configuring equipment, supporting clinical and administrative systems, and escalating complex faults in line with service procedures. Candidates are expected to have practical IT support experience, good knowledge of Microsoft technologies and service-desk processes, and strong customer-service and communication skills. The ability to work methodically, protect confidential patient information, prioritise competing requests and work effectively with colleagues is essential. Experience in an NHS or healthcare environment would be advantageous, as would familiarity with ITIL principles and electronic patient-record systems.

Its workforce includes clinical, technical, administrative and support professionals working together to deliver safe, effective and compassionate care. As an NHS Foundation Trust, it is committed to improving patient outcomes, modernising services and developing its employees. The United Kingdom offers opportunities in healthcare, technology, engineering, finance, education and skilled trades, with NHS digital-support roles available across many regions. British culture is generally polite, diverse and multicultural, with strong respect for privacy, punctuality and professional standards. Lifestyle varies from busy cities to quieter towns and countryside; public transport is widely available, although costs can be high. Employees usually receive paid holiday and access to the NHS pension and workplace benefits. International applicants normally need the right to work, commonly through a Skilled Worker visa when the role and salary meet immigration requirements. NHS employers may offer sponsorship for eligible vacancies, but this must be confirmed in the advert. Before relocating, check visa rules, registration requirements, housing costs, taxation, healthcare access and transport. Peterborough and Huntingdon provide comparatively good access to London and regional employment centres.
