Candidates should have strong organization, communication, customer-service, and computer skills, with good knowledge of Microsoft Office and preferably hotel sales or hospitality experience. Familiarity with Opera, Delphi, Salesforce, or similar systems is advantageous. The successful candidate is expected to be professional, proactive, detail-oriented, commercially aware, and able to manage competing deadlines while working collaboratively across departments and properties. Fluency in English is normally required; additional languages and UAE hospitality experience are beneficial.
Marriott International is one of the world's largest hospitality companies, operating a broad portfolio of hotels and resorts across more than 140 countries and territories. Its brands range from luxury properties such as The Ritz-Carlton and St. Regis to lifestyle and select-service brands including Aloft, Sheraton, Marriott Hotels, and Westin. Aloft by Marriott Me'aisam Dubai is a modern, design-focused hotel serving business and leisure travelers in the Dubai Production City area. The property offers contemporary accommodation, dining, social spaces, meetings, and guest-focused services. Marriott emphasizes service excellence, inclusion, professional development, ethical business practices, and opportunities for career mobility across its global network. Employees typically work in a multicultural environment and may receive benefits such as training, staff rates, meals, transportation, medical coverage, or accommodation depending on the role and employment package.
The United Arab Emirates is not an island but a Gulf federation made up of seven emirates, with Dubai and Abu Dhabi offering the widest range of hospitality, sales, tourism, retail, aviation, and business opportunities. The culture combines Islamic traditions, Emirati heritage, and a highly international lifestyle. English is widely used, while Arabic is the official language. Dubai offers modern transport, beaches, shopping, restaurants, entertainment, and a busy year-round social scene, although summer temperatures are extremely high. Employers normally sponsor work visas, residence permits, medical testing, and Emirates ID applications after hiring. Candidates should confirm whether accommodation, transport, meals, insurance, annual flights, and gratuity are included in the contract. Relocation costs, document attestation, and initial housing deposits should be planned carefully. Respectful dress and behavior are expected, particularly during Ramadan and in government or religious settings.
