About the employer

North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust provides hospital and community healthcare services to patients across Cambridgeshire and surrounding areas. Its main sites include Peterborough City Hospital, Hinchingbrooke Hospital in Huntingdon and services in other local communities. The Trust employs a large multidisciplinary workforce, including doctors, nurses, allied health professionals, administrators, estates staff and digital specialists. It delivers urgent and emergency care, planned treatment, diagnostics, maternity, surgery, medical services and specialist care. Like other NHS organisations, it places strong emphasis on patient safety, equality, safeguarding, information governance and continuous improvement. Digital teams support the Trust’s clinical systems, infrastructure and users, helping staff deliver safe and efficient care. Working for the Trust can offer access to NHS pension arrangements, structured development, training and opportunities to contribute to important public services.

Working in United Kingdom

The United Kingdom offers broad opportunities in healthcare, technology, engineering, finance, education and professional services, with especially strong demand for NHS digital and IT specialists. Its culture is diverse and generally informal, with a strong respect for privacy, punctuality and personal choice. Lifestyle varies from busy cities to quieter countryside; public transport is extensive but housing costs are high in London and parts of southern England. Peterborough and Huntingdon are more affordable than London and have rail links to major centres. Non-UK citizens should check whether their role qualifies for employer sponsorship under the Skilled Worker or Health and Care Worker routes. NHS employers may sponsor eligible positions, but this must be confirmed in the advert. Applicants typically need an approved employer, a certificate of sponsorship, suitable salary and English-language evidence. Plan for accommodation, National Insurance, banking, healthcare registration and relocation costs before travelling.
