The Multi-Property Sales Manager is responsible for driving group, corporate and leisure business across The Westin Brisbane and associated Marriott properties. Requirements typically include several years of hotel sales experience, strong knowledge of the Brisbane market, excellent communication and negotiation skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage client relationships and sales pipelines. Experience with Marriott systems, revenue strategies, tenders and industry networking is advantageous. The successful candidate is expected to achieve revenue targets, develop new accounts, maintain existing partnerships, coordinate with revenue and operations teams, prepare accurate forecasts, and represent the hotels professionally. Flexibility, initiative, teamwork and a results-focused approach are essential.
The Westin Brisbane is part of Marriott International, one of the world’s largest hospitality companies, operating thousands of hotels and resorts across numerous brands and countries. Westin is Marriott’s wellbeing-focused luxury brand, known for services and facilities designed to help guests maintain healthy routines while travelling, including wellness programming, nutritious dining and comfortable sleep experiences. The Brisbane property serves business and leisure travellers and is positioned to attract corporate events, meetings, group stays and premium individual guests. Marriott promotes a structured, international working environment with opportunities for professional development, internal mobility and access to global hospitality standards. Employees generally work alongside teams in sales, revenue management, guest services, food and beverage, events and hotel operations to deliver commercial results and a consistent guest experience.
Australia offers strong opportunities in hospitality, tourism, events, sales and hotel operations, particularly in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and regional resort destinations. The culture is generally informal, multicultural and direct, with emphasis on teamwork, customer service and work-life balance. Brisbane provides a warm climate, outdoor lifestyle, riverfront dining, beaches within reach and relatively lower living costs than Sydney. International applicants usually need an appropriate work visa, such as an employer-sponsored visa, skilled visa or eligible working holiday visa; requirements depend on nationality, occupation and experience. Relocation costs, rental deposits, health insurance and tax arrangements should be planned carefully. Candidates should verify visa eligibility through Australia’s Department of Home Affairs and confirm employment conditions, salary, superannuation and relocation support directly with Marriott. Australia is geographically large, so travel between cities can be expensive, although domestic flights are frequent.
