This role requires a recognised physiotherapy qualification, current HCPC registration, and relevant clinical experience, ideally in pelvic health, women’s health, continence, musculoskeletal, or related services. The postholder will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with pelvic health conditions, develop individualised treatment plans, provide education and exercise programmes, maintain accurate clinical records, and work closely with multidisciplinary teams. Candidates are expected to demonstrate sound clinical reasoning, effective communication, empathy, professional accountability, and commitment to evidence-based practice. Experience supporting junior staff, contributing to service development, and working across hospital and community settings would be advantageous. A commitment to safeguarding, equality, confidentiality, infection control, and NHS values is also expected.
United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust provides hospital services to communities across Lincolnshire through facilities including Lincoln County Hospital, Pilgrim Hospital in Boston, and Grantham and District Hospital. The Trust delivers emergency, medical, surgical, maternity, outpatient, diagnostic, and specialist services to a large and geographically diverse population. Its workforce includes clinical, technical, administrative, and support professionals working across hospital and community-facing services. As an NHS employer, the Trust promotes patient-centred care, clinical quality, inclusion, professional development, and multidisciplinary teamwork. Employees may benefit from NHS pension arrangements, annual leave, occupational health support, training opportunities, and structured pay progression. This physiotherapy position supports the Trust’s wider commitment to accessible, safe, and effective rehabilitation and pelvic health care for patients across Lincolnshire.
The United Kingdom offers varied opportunities in healthcare, technology, finance, education, engineering, logistics, and public services, with strong demand for qualified NHS professionals. British culture is diverse and generally values punctuality, privacy, fairness, and polite communication. Lifestyle options range from vibrant cities and historic towns to countryside, coast, and national parks. Living costs vary considerably: London and the southeast are typically most expensive, while Lincolnshire and other regional areas can be more affordable. International healthcare professionals usually need the appropriate UK professional registration and may require a Skilled Worker visa sponsored by an eligible employer. Physiotherapists should check HCPC registration and English-language requirements before applying. Relocation planning should include accommodation, transport, healthcare access, tax, National Insurance, and school arrangements where relevant.
