The United Arab Emirates is a federation of seven emirates rather than an island, with strong opportunities in hotels, restaurants, tourism, aviation, retail, construction, finance and technology. Abu Dhabi and Dubai offer the largest hospitality job markets, while Ras Al Khaimah and other emirates are growing resort destinations. The culture is welcoming and multicultural, but visitors and workers should respect Islamic traditions, local dress expectations and public conduct rules. The lifestyle combines modern cities, beaches, desert activities, shopping and international dining, although summers are extremely hot. Employers normally arrange an employment visa, medical examination, Emirates ID and residency sponsorship after hiring. Confirm that the contract covers accommodation, transport, meals, insurance, annual leave and airfare. Do not work on a tourist visa, and verify recruitment fees and contract terms before relocating.
