The Salaried GP will provide safe, effective and compassionate general medical services to registered patients, including clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, chronic disease management, referrals and preventive care. Applicants should hold full GMC registration, a licence to practise, inclusion on the NHS England Medical Performers List and appropriate postgraduate GP qualifications, normally including MRCGP. The role requires strong communication, sound clinical judgment, professional integrity and the ability to work collaboratively with practice and multidisciplinary teams. Candidates are expected to maintain accurate records, follow safeguarding and clinical governance procedures, contribute to quality improvement and deliver patient-centred care. NHS primary-care experience and familiarity with electronic clinical systems are advantageous.

It manages and supports GP practices and works with local healthcare partners to improve access, continuity of care and health outcomes. As a socially focused organisation, Hope Citadel aims to serve diverse communities, reduce health inequalities and deliver services that are responsive to local needs. Its teams typically include GPs, nurses, healthcare assistants, pharmacists, administrators and other multidisciplinary professionals. The organisation places emphasis on safe, compassionate and clinically effective care, alongside staff development, teamwork and service improvement. Working for Hope Citadel may suit clinicians who want the stability of NHS general practice while contributing to a community-oriented and values-led provider.
The United Kingdom offers substantial opportunities for GPs, nurses, allied health professionals, pharmacists and healthcare managers, particularly through the NHS and independent primary-care providers. Its culture is diverse, generally professional and multicultural, with strong traditions in public healthcare, education and community life. Lifestyle varies from busy metropolitan areas to quieter rural and coastal regions, with reliable transport, historic towns and extensive public services, although housing costs can be high in London and the South East. Overseas doctors usually need GMC registration, acceptable qualifications, English-language evidence and often a Certificate of Sponsorship. Eligible workers may apply for a Health and Care Worker visa, followed by possible settlement. Candidates should budget for relocation, accommodation, registration fees and visa costs, and check current immigration and licensing rules before travelling.
