About the employer

Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino is a large beachfront resort located in Palm Beach, Aruba. It forms part of Marriott International's global hospitality portfolio and offers upscale accommodation, restaurants, pools, meeting facilities, leisure amenities, and casino entertainment. The property serves international vacationers, business travelers, groups, and casino guests. Its operations include hotel accommodation, food and beverage, recreation, events, guest services, security, and gaming. Employees work in a multicultural environment where professional service, guest safety, teamwork, and attention to detail are important. As a major resort employer on the island, the property may offer opportunities across hospitality, culinary, housekeeping, engineering, finance, front office, events, and casino operations. Benefits and employment conditions vary by position and are subject to Aruba's labor regulations.

Working in Aruba

Aruba offers job opportunities in hotels, restaurants, casinos, tourism, retail, transportation, watersports, healthcare, construction, and professional services. The island has a welcoming, multicultural character, with Papiamento, Dutch, English, and Spanish commonly heard. Life is generally sunny, relaxed, and outdoor-oriented, with beaches, diving, windsurfing, festivals, and an active expatriate community. Housing can be expensive and availability may be limited near the main resort areas, so applicants should research accommodation and transport before relocating. Foreign nationals normally need an employer-sponsored work permit and residence authorization before beginning employment; requirements and processing times can vary, so the employer and Aruba authorities should be consulted. Do not work on a tourist stay. A valid passport, employment contract, background documents, medical paperwork, and proof of qualifications may be required. Salaries should be compared with local living costs, particularly rent, utilities, groceries, and insurance.
