About the employer

The St. Regis Doha is a luxury five-star hotel in Qatar operated under Marriott International’s St. Regis Hotels & Resorts brand. Located in the West Bay area, the property is known for elegant accommodation, premium restaurants and lounges, extensive event facilities, a private beach, and highly personalized butler-style service. St. Regis hotels serve discerning international travelers and emphasize refined hospitality, attention to detail, and distinctive traditions such as afternoon tea and signature evening rituals. As part of Marriott International, the hotel offers employees access to global hospitality standards, structured training, and potential career mobility across an extensive international portfolio. The workplace is multicultural and guest-focused, with strong expectations regarding grooming, professionalism, service consistency, and discretion. Employment packages in Qatar may also include accommodation, meals, transportation, medical coverage, and other benefits, depending on the contract and grade.

Working in Qatar

Qatar is a modern Gulf country rather than an island, offering strong opportunities in hotels, restaurants, tourism, aviation, events, retail, construction, healthcare, and business services. Doha is the main employment center and has a safe, highly developed lifestyle with modern malls, beaches, museums, sports venues, and international dining. The culture is welcoming but conservative: modest clothing is appreciated, public behavior should remain respectful, and local customs are especially important during Ramadan. Summers are extremely hot, while winters are pleasant and suitable for outdoor activities. Most overseas employees need an employer-sponsored work visa and residence permit; the employer commonly arranges medical checks, documentation, and relocation support. Contracts may include accommodation or an allowance, transport, meals, health insurance, and annual flights. Candidates should verify salary, benefits, probation, working hours, and recruitment fees before accepting an offer.
