Marriott International is one of the world's largest hospitality companies, operating a broad portfolio of hotels and resorts across many countries. Its Westin Hotels & Resorts brand focuses on wellbeing, encouraging guests to feel restored through sleep, movement, nutrition and meaningful experiences. The Westin Resort & Spa Ubud Bali is located in the cultural heart of Bali, surrounded by tropical scenery, rice fields and the artistic heritage of Ubud. The resort combines upscale accommodation, wellness facilities, dining, recreation and spa services for leisure travelers, families and groups. Employees typically work in a service-focused, multicultural environment with access to Marriott training, career development and international hospitality opportunities. The resort values genuine guest care, professionalism, teamwork and the creation of personalized experiences that support Westin's wellbeing-centered identity.
Bali is Indonesia's best-known island for hospitality careers, with opportunities in resorts, restaurants, spas, wellness, tourism, events and guest activities. Ubud is quieter and more cultural than the beach areas, known for temples, crafts, yoga, wellness centers, rice terraces and a relaxed lifestyle. Balinese Hindu traditions strongly influence daily life, ceremonies and community relationships, so respectful dress and behavior are important. Living costs vary, but accommodation, transport and meals should be considered carefully; many hospitality employers provide staff meals, uniforms, service charge or accommodation support. Foreign nationals normally need an appropriate Indonesian work visa and work permit arranged with employer sponsorship; working on a tourist visa is not permitted. Relocation requires a valid passport, employment contract, medical checks and proper immigration documentation. Bali has international airport access, established expatriate communities and good basic services, although traffic, humidity and seasonal tourism demand can affect everyday life.
