About the employer

EY, formerly Ernst & Young, is a global professional services organization providing assurance, tax, strategy and transactions, and consulting services. Its clients include multinational corporations, financial institutions, governments, and growing businesses. EY’s consulting teams help organizations improve performance, manage risk, modernize technology, respond to regulation, and deliver large-scale business transformation. Through its Financial Services Organization, EY serves banking, insurance, wealth and asset management, and broader capital-markets clients. The firm operates across international markets and combines industry knowledge with capabilities in technology, data, cybersecurity, finance, and organizational change. EY promotes professional development, inclusive working practices, collaboration, and long-term client relationships. In Bermuda, its work is particularly connected to the island’s important financial-services, insurance, reinsurance, and investment sectors.

Working in Bermuda

Bermuda offers opportunities in international business, insurance and reinsurance, banking, asset management, accounting, legal services, technology, hospitality, healthcare, and professional consulting. The island has a polished, multicultural business culture, with English widely used and strong connections to North America and the United Kingdom. Lifestyle highlights include beaches, sailing, diving, golf, a mild climate, and a compact community, although housing, groceries, and transportation can be expensive. Bermuda generally restricts private-car ownership, so residents often use buses, ferries, taxis, or scooters. Foreign employees normally need employer sponsorship and a work permit before starting employment; the employer usually handles the application and must meet local immigration requirements. Relocation packages may assist with housing, flights, insurance, and settling-in costs. Candidates should confirm salary, permit eligibility, accommodation, taxation, and benefits directly with EY before accepting an offer.
