Halliburton is one of the world's major energy technology and oilfield services companies. Founded in 1919 and headquartered in the United States, it provides products and services that help energy companies explore, drill, complete and produce wells. Its operations include drilling and evaluation, well construction, completion, production enhancement, digital solutions and equipment manufacturing. Halliburton employs a global workforce across oil, gas and related energy markets, with strong emphasis on engineering, operational reliability, safety and technology development. In Singapore, the company supports regional manufacturing, maintenance, technical services and energy-sector operations. Employees commonly work in structured, quality-controlled environments and may have opportunities for technical training, cross-functional experience and international career development.
Singapore is a compact, highly connected island city with strong opportunities in manufacturing, engineering, logistics, energy services, technology and finance. Its multicultural population includes Chinese, Malay, Indian and international communities, and English is widely used at work. The lifestyle is convenient and safe, with excellent public transport, modern healthcare, shopping, diverse food and easy access to parks and regional travel. Housing can be expensive, especially in central areas, so many workers choose shared accommodation or neighborhoods near MRT stations. Foreign employees generally need an employer-sponsored work pass; technical roles may use an Employment Pass or S Pass, depending on qualifications, salary and government approval. New arrivals should arrange housing, healthcare coverage, banking and tax registration. Singapore's warm, humid climate and high living costs are important factors when planning relocation.
