The Senior Lead OTC ETF Manager is expected to provide experienced leadership across the lifecycle of over-the-counter exchange-traded fund products, including trade processing, portfolio or transaction oversight, controls, reconciliations, risk management and regulatory requirements. The role typically requires strong knowledge of ETFs, derivatives, capital markets operations and investment products, together with experience managing complex processes and stakeholder relationships. Candidates should demonstrate senior-level judgment, excellent communication, attention to detail and the ability to lead teams or strategic initiatives. Familiarity with global operating models, operational risk, controls, data analysis and technology change is likely important. Experience in banking, asset management, securities services or markets operations, along with relevant financial qualifications, would be advantageous.
Citi, legally Citibank Europe plc for many of its European activities, is a global financial institution providing banking, markets, securities services, treasury and wealth management solutions to corporations, governments, investors and individuals. Its international network supports clients across major financial centres and connects businesses to global capital markets. Citi has a significant presence in Ireland, particularly in Dublin, where it operates technology, operations, financial markets and service functions supporting customers worldwide. The company employs professionals across trading support, fund services, risk, compliance, technology, finance and client management. Citi’s work environment generally emphasizes global collaboration, regulatory discipline, operational resilience, innovation and inclusion. Senior roles commonly involve coordinating across regions, strengthening controls, improving processes and delivering reliable services in a highly regulated financial environment.
Ireland offers strong opportunities in banking, asset management, financial technology, pharmaceuticals, technology, professional services and multinational operations. Dublin is the main financial and employment hub, while Cork, Galway and Limerick also provide expanding career options. Irish workplace culture is generally collaborative, direct and informal, with good value placed on communication and work-life balance. The country offers attractive coastal scenery, historic towns, lively music and arts communities, and extensive outdoor activities. Dublin housing can be expensive and competitive, so relocation planning and budgeting are important; transport is good in cities but more limited in rural areas. EU, EEA and Swiss citizens can work without an employment permit. Non-EEA professionals normally need an employment permit, such as a Critical Skills Employment Permit where the occupation, salary and offer qualify, or a General Employment Permit. Applicants should confirm current immigration rules before accepting an offer.
