Working in United Arab Emirates

The United Arab Emirates is not an island but a federation of seven emirates, with Dubai serving as a major regional center for banking, finance, trade, tourism, and technology. Job opportunities are particularly strong in financial services, wealth management, corporate banking, compliance, technology, logistics, hospitality, and professional services. The culture is cosmopolitan and respectful, blending Emirati traditions with a large international population. Dubai offers modern housing, excellent transport links, international schools, diverse restaurants, beaches, shopping, and an active social life, although accommodation and schooling can be expensive. Most foreign employees require an employment visa sponsored by their employer; the process usually includes medical checks and Emirates ID registration. Candidates should verify contract terms, health insurance, relocation support, housing costs, and notice requirements before moving. English is widely used in business, while Arabic is the official language.
