Candidates are expected to work shifts, maintain accurate service records, cooperate with the engineering team and deliver reliable, high-quality work in a busy hotel environment.
Novotel World Trade Centre Dubai is an internationally oriented hotel located near Dubai World Trade Centre, a major business, exhibition and events district. The property operates under Novotel, a midscale hospitality brand within Accor, one of the world's leading hotel groups. Novotel hotels focus on comfortable stays, practical facilities, friendly service and efficient experiences for both business and leisure travellers. The Dubai hotel serves guests attending conferences, exhibitions and city attractions, with accommodation, dining, meeting and guest-support services. Employees work in a multicultural environment and follow Accor standards for hospitality, safety, sustainability and professional development. The engineering department plays an important role in maintaining guest comfort, hotel facilities and continuous operations.
Although the United Arab Emirates is not an island, it offers strong opportunities in hospitality, tourism, construction, facilities management, aviation and engineering, particularly in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The culture combines Arab traditions with a highly international lifestyle; modest dress and respect for local customs are expected, especially during Ramadan. Dubai provides modern housing, public transport, shopping, beaches and extensive leisure activities, but living costs can be high. Most overseas employees require an employment visa and residence permit sponsored by their employer, who normally arranges medical testing and Emirates ID processing. Candidates should confirm whether accommodation, transport, meals, health insurance, annual leave and return airfare are included. Summers are extremely hot, so air-conditioned workplaces and careful outdoor planning are important. English is widely used in hotels, while Arabic is the official language.
