The Steward supports the kitchen and food-and-beverage operation by washing dishes, utensils, cookware and equipment, maintaining cleanliness in kitchen and storage areas, removing waste and following hygiene procedures. Applicants should be physically fit, reliable, organized and comfortable working shifts, weekends and public holidays. Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant or commercial kitchen is helpful but may not always be essential. The successful candidate is expected to work efficiently under pressure, follow health and safety standards, handle cleaning chemicals correctly, support chefs and service teams, and maintain a professional, cooperative attitude.
