About the employer

Novotel Kuala Lumpur City Centre is a mid-to-upscale hotel operated under Accor, a major international hospitality group with hotels and resorts across the world. Located in central Kuala Lumpur near major shopping, business and entertainment areas, the property serves business travellers, families, groups and leisure guests. Novotel hotels are known for practical contemporary accommodation, dining facilities, meeting spaces and a relaxed, welcoming service style. As part of Accor, the hotel typically follows international operating standards and provides opportunities to work with a diverse team and global hospitality systems. Employees may also benefit from Accor’s training, career-development programmes and staff-discount initiatives, subject to local policies. Working in Malaysia

Malaysia offers opportunities in hotels, resorts, restaurants, tourism, retail, technology and shared services, especially in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Langkawi, Kota Kinabalu and Johor. Its culture blends Malay, Chinese, Indian and Indigenous traditions, with English widely used in business and hospitality. Urban life is convenient and modern, while island destinations such as Langkawi, Penang, Tioman and the Perhentian Islands provide beaches, diving and a slower lifestyle. Living costs are generally moderate, though central Kuala Lumpur and resort islands can be more expensive. Foreign workers normally need an employer-sponsored employment pass or other approved work authorisation; working on a tourist entry is not permitted. Employers usually guide the application process, medical checks and registration. Before relocating, confirm salary, accommodation, service charge, insurance, transport and contract conditions. Malaysia is warm year-round, with monsoon conditions varying by coast.
