About the employer

Novotel Abu Dhabi Gate is an internationally branded hotel operated under Accor, one of the world’s leading hospitality groups. Located between Abu Dhabi city and the airport area, the property serves business travellers, tourists, families, and group guests. Novotel hotels are known for practical comfort, contemporary facilities, approachable service, and value-focused accommodation. The Abu Dhabi Gate property includes guest rooms, restaurants, meeting and event facilities, leisure amenities, and services for corporate and individual visitors. As part of Accor, employees may benefit from structured training, international career opportunities, employee travel programmes, and exposure to global hotel standards. The hotel’s sales team works closely with rooms, food and beverage, events, reservations, and revenue management to attract business and leisure demand. Arabic-speaking sales professionals are particularly valuable for developing relationships with local companies, government-linked organisations, travel partners, and regional markets.

Working in United Arab Emirates

The United Arab Emirates is a modern Gulf country rather than an island, comprising seven emirates, including Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Hospitality, tourism, aviation, retail, events, finance, technology, healthcare, and construction provide strong employment opportunities. The culture blends Islamic traditions with a highly international lifestyle; modest dress and respectful behaviour are appreciated, especially in public and religious settings. Abu Dhabi offers a quieter, family-friendly environment, excellent beaches, shopping, restaurants, and year-round sunshine, although summers are extremely hot. Employers normally sponsor a work visa, residence permit, medical examination, and Emirates ID for overseas hires, subject to approval. Candidates should confirm whether accommodation, transport, insurance, flights, meals, and service charge are included in the offer. Employees should never work on a tourist visa. Relocation costs, deposits, school fees, and transport can be significant, so reviewing the full package before accepting is important.
