The Security Officer is responsible for protecting guests, employees, property and hotel assets at Hyde Hotel Dubai. Typical requirements include previous experience in hotel, hospitality, commercial or security operations; strong observation and communication skills; physical fitness; professional presentation; and the ability to remain calm during emergencies. A valid UAE security licence or eligibility to obtain one, such as SIRA approval, may be required. The successful candidate is expected to patrol the property, monitor access and CCTV systems, respond to incidents, complete accurate reports, support emergency procedures, and provide courteous assistance to guests. Flexibility for rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays is essential, together with discretion, reliability and a strong commitment to safety and service standards.

The hotel offers guest rooms and suites, restaurants, bars, event spaces and leisure facilities, serving both international visitors and local guests. Its working environment generally combines upscale hospitality standards with a modern, creative culture. Employees are expected to deliver attentive service, support the hotel’s vibrant identity and work collaboratively across departments while maintaining professional safety, security and guest-care standards.
The United Arab Emirates is not an island but a federation of seven emirates, with Dubai offering especially strong opportunities in hotels, restaurants, tourism, retail, aviation, security, construction and technology. The culture is multicultural and generally welcoming, while Islamic traditions shape public conduct, dress expectations and major holidays. Dubai provides a warm, modern lifestyle with beaches, shopping, nightlife, desert activities and excellent transport, although rent and daily costs can be high. Most overseas employees need an employer-sponsored work permit and residence visa; the company normally arranges medical testing, Emirates ID processing and visa formalities. Do not work on a tourist visa. Employers may provide accommodation, transport, meals, insurance and annual airfare, so check the written offer carefully. Candidates should bring certified qualifications, passport documents and references, and budget for initial expenses. Summers are extremely hot, making air-conditioned workplaces and planned outdoor activities important.
