Mercure is Accor’s internationally recognized midscale hotel brand, offering locally inspired stays with reliable service, comfortable accommodation and a welcoming atmosphere. The resort environment combines leisure facilities, guest rooms and villas, food and beverage services, housekeeping operations and event or recreation activities. As part of Accor, the property provides employees with exposure to international hotel standards, structured operating procedures and potential opportunities for training and career development across the group. Located in Rayong, the resort benefits from access to beaches, coastal attractions and nearby destinations such as Koh Samet. Employees typically work in a multicultural hospitality setting where guest satisfaction, teamwork, cleanliness, safety and consistent service quality are important priorities.
Thailand offers many hospitality opportunities on islands and coastal destinations such as Phuket, Koh Samui, Koh Phangan, Koh Chang, Koh Samet and Krabi. Common vacancies include housekeeping, food and beverage, front office, maintenance, wellness, diving and resort supervision. Island life is relaxed and community-oriented, with excellent beaches, outdoor activities, local markets and affordable Thai food, although transport and imported goods can cost more than on the mainland. Thai culture values politeness, respect, modesty and friendly service. Rayong is on the mainland but is close to Koh Samet, making it suitable for coastal living without complete island isolation. Foreign employees generally need an employer-sponsored Non-Immigrant B visa and a Thai work permit before working legally; requirements vary by nationality and position. Employers may assist with documentation, accommodation, meals, insurance and transport, so these benefits should be confirmed before relocation.
