Working in United Arab Emirates

The United Arab Emirates is not an island but a federation of seven emirates, with Dubai and Abu Dhabi offering the largest number of international job opportunities. Aviation, logistics, tourism, retail, technology, finance, healthcare and construction are major employment sectors. UAE culture combines Arab traditions, hospitality and Islamic values with a highly international lifestyle. Residents enjoy modern housing, shopping, restaurants, beaches and desert activities, although living costs can be high, especially in Dubai. Summers are extremely hot, while winters are comfortable. Most overseas employees require an employment visa sponsored by their employer; the company normally arranges entry permission, medical checks, Emirates ID and residency processing. Bring authenticated qualifications where required and confirm accommodation, insurance and relocation benefits before accepting an offer. Public transport is strongest in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, while driving is common elsewhere.
