The Agile Delivery Manager (Data Science) leads cross-functional data science initiatives from planning through delivery, ensuring that projects provide measurable business value. Requirements typically include a degree in computer science, data science, engineering, business, or a related discipline; experience managing Agile delivery; and familiarity with data science, analytics, Scrum, product backlogs, stakeholder management, and delivery tools. Experience in aviation, large-scale technology programmes, or working with multidisciplinary teams is advantageous. The successful candidate is expected to facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove delivery obstacles, manage risks and dependencies, communicate clearly with senior stakeholders, and support high-quality, timely outcomes. As this is an Emiratisation role, applicants are generally expected to be UAE nationals and meet the programme's eligibility requirements.
Emirates is the international airline of the Emirates Group, headquartered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It operates a large wide-body fleet and connects Dubai with destinations across the Middle East, Asia, Europe, Africa, the Americas, and Australasia. The group includes aviation, airport services, cargo, catering, travel, and other associated businesses. Emirates is known for its global workforce, premium onboard product, extensive international network, and investment in technology and operational efficiency. Employees may receive competitive tax-free UAE salaries, health coverage, annual leave, travel privileges, and other benefits, subject to the specific contract and grade. The company also supports national talent development through Emiratisation programmes, offering UAE nationals opportunities to build careers across technology, operations, commercial functions, and corporate services.
The United Arab Emirates is a federation of seven emirates, not an island, with Dubai and Abu Dhabi offering the broadest range of professional opportunities. Demand is strong in aviation, technology, data analytics, finance, logistics, tourism, construction, healthcare, and government services. The culture combines Emirati traditions, Islamic values, and a highly international population. Arabic is the official language, while English is widely used at work. Lifestyle options range from modern city living, restaurants, beaches, and shopping to desert activities and quieter residential communities. Summers are extremely hot, so indoor facilities and air conditioning are central to daily life. Most expatriates need employer sponsorship for a residence visa and work permit; UAE nationals follow different employment arrangements. Relocating usually involves document attestation, medical screening, Emirates ID registration, housing decisions, and health insurance. Costs vary considerably, with Dubai and Abu Dhabi generally the most expensive.
