Its large property and varied facilities create a maintenance environment covering guest rooms, public spaces, buildings, gardens, utilities and recreational areas. AVANI is positioned as a contemporary hospitality brand focused on relaxed design, local experiences and attentive service. Employees generally work in a collaborative resort setting where operational reliability, guest comfort, presentation standards and safety are central to the property’s daily performance.
Australia is a large island continent with opportunities across hospitality, tourism, trades, engineering, healthcare, construction and technology. Resort and maintenance roles are available in major cities, coastal destinations and regional areas such as the Hunter Valley, where demand can be strong for skilled technicians and supervisors. Australian workplace culture is generally practical, relatively informal and focused on safety, punctuality, fairness and clear communication. The lifestyle offers excellent beaches, outdoor activities, diverse food, public services and a good work-life balance, although housing and transport costs vary considerably by location. For international applicants, common pathways include employer-sponsored visas, skilled visas and working holiday visas, subject to occupation, age, qualifications and eligibility rules. Applicants should check current requirements with the Australian Department of Home Affairs. Relocating to a regional resort may require a vehicle, rental budgeting and preparation for quieter surroundings than a major city.
