About the employer

Carnival Corporation & plc is one of the world’s largest leisure travel and cruise companies. Its portfolio includes well-known cruise brands such as Carnival Cruise Line, Princess Cruises, Holland America Line, Seabourn, Cunard, Costa Cruises, AIDA Cruises, and P&O Cruises. The company operates ships and destinations across the Caribbean, Europe, Alaska, Australia, and other major travel regions. Carnival employs people in onboard marine, hotel, culinary, entertainment, guest services, technical, corporate, and technology roles. Its corporate operations in Miami support global business functions including cybersecurity, digital products, finance, marketing, supply chain, and fleet operations. The company’s technology teams help protect customer information, onboard systems, business applications, and digital services used by guests and employees worldwide.

Working in On Cruise

This role is primarily based in Miami and supports a global cruise operation rather than being located on a specific island. Cruise-related opportunities include marine operations, hospitality, food and beverage, entertainment, guest services, engineering, retail, healthcare, security, and corporate technology. Cruise culture is international, fast-paced, and team-oriented, with employees working alongside colleagues and guests from many countries. Onboard staff usually live at sea for contract periods, while Miami-based employees enjoy an urban coastal lifestyle with access to Caribbean travel. Visa and relocation requirements depend on nationality, position, and work location. Shipboard workers may need a seafarer medical certificate, passport, maritime documents, and a company-sponsored work visa or crew entry authorization. Miami employees generally need valid U.S. work authorization; Carnival may provide relocation support for selected roles, but candidates should confirm details directly with the recruiter.
