About the employer

The group works with internationally recognized sportswear, fashion, and lifestyle brands, providing services that cover product design, innovation, development, manufacturing, and supply-chain support. MAS is known for its focus on technology, sustainability, ethical manufacturing, and people development. Its operations extend across Sri Lanka and several international locations, with facilities specializing in areas such as intimate apparel, activewear, swimwear, performance clothing, and wearable technology. The company employs a large, diverse workforce and regularly offers internships, graduate opportunities, and professional roles across manufacturing, operations, engineering, merchandising, quality, finance, technology, and corporate functions. Interns typically gain practical exposure to structured business processes and a fast-moving international supply network.

Working in Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka offers career opportunities in apparel manufacturing, operations, tourism, information technology, engineering, finance, logistics, healthcare, and business services. Colombo and nearby industrial zones generally provide the widest range of professional roles, while Kandy, Galle, Katunayake, and regional manufacturing areas offer additional opportunities. The culture is welcoming and diverse, shaped by Sinhalese, Tamil, Muslim, and colonial influences. Lifestyle costs are usually lower than in many international business hubs, although Colombo accommodation can be comparatively expensive. Public transport is affordable, while traffic can be heavy. Foreign nationals normally need an appropriate employment or residence visa arranged with employer support; a tourist visa does not permit employment. Relocating workers should confirm visa rules, accommodation, healthcare, taxation, and insurance before arrival. English is widely used in business, while Sinhala and Tamil are the main local languages.
