The group offers careers across hotel operations, food and beverage, finance, engineering, sales and procurement. Malaysia offers varied opportunities in hospitality, tourism, retail, technology, manufacturing and professional services. Island and resort locations such as Langkawi, Penang, Sabah and parts of Sarawak are particularly suitable for hotel and tourism careers, while Kuala Lumpur provides the broadest employment market. Malaysian culture is multicultural, combining Malay, Chinese, Indian and indigenous traditions, with English commonly used in business and hotels. Living costs are generally moderate, though resort accommodation and transport can vary by location. Employees should expect a warm climate, diverse food, strong community values and a relaxed lifestyle outside major cities. Foreign nationals normally need an employer-sponsored Employment Pass, and the hiring company usually manages the application. Candidates should confirm visa eligibility, medical requirements, accommodation, transport and relocation support before accepting an offer. Island living can be rewarding but may involve fewer services and less frequent travel to major cities.
