Working in United Arab Emirates

The United Arab Emirates is not an island, but its coastal cities, including Dubai and Abu Dhabi, offer an international lifestyle and extensive hospitality opportunities. Jobs are available in luxury hotels, restaurants, resorts, events, retail, aviation, finance, technology, and tourism. The culture combines Emirati traditions, Islamic values, and a large expatriate community, so respectful dress and behaviour are important. Lifestyle options include beaches, shopping malls, desert activities, cultural sites, and vibrant dining and entertainment. Summers are extremely hot, while winters are generally warm and comfortable. UAE Nationals do not require an employment visa; expatriates normally receive employer-sponsored residence and work permits after hiring. Relocating employees should budget for accommodation, transport, health insurance, and document attestation. Dubai and Abu Dhabi are well connected, though living costs can be high. Public transport is strongest in major cities, while taxis and cars remain widely used.
