Candidates should have relevant experience in hotel sales, events, administration or customer service, strong organisational and communication skills, and good knowledge of Microsoft Office. Fluency in English is generally required; Cantonese and Mandarin are valuable for Hong Kong clients. The successful candidate is expected to be detail-oriented, commercially aware, responsive and comfortable managing multiple deadlines. A professional appearance, positive attitude, teamwork, and the ability to deliver efficient service to corporate, group and event customers are also important.

Hong Kong is a major international business and tourism centre with opportunities in hospitality, events, retail, finance, technology, aviation and professional services. The culture blends Cantonese traditions with global influences; English is widely used in business, while Cantonese is valuable for daily life and customer-facing roles. The lifestyle is energetic, convenient and highly urban, with excellent public transport, diverse food, hiking trails, beaches and a vibrant arts scene. Housing is expensive, so many newcomers share flats or live in areas connected by the MTR. Overseas employees normally require an appropriate work visa, commonly sponsored by the employer under the General Employment Policy, and should not begin work before approval. Applicants should prepare passport, qualifications, employment records and proof of experience. Employers may assist with visa processing, but relocation costs, accommodation and dependent arrangements should be confirmed before accepting an offer.
