Shangri-La Group is a leading luxury hospitality company headquartered in Hong Kong, operating hotels, resorts, residences, and related businesses across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, North America, and other markets. Its portfolio includes the Shangri-La, Kerry, JEN, and Traders brands. Shangri-La properties are known for personalized service, comfortable accommodation, strong food and beverage offerings, and destination-focused guest experiences. In the Philippines, the group operates well-known city hotels and island resorts, supported by teams in guest services, culinary operations, finance, engineering, wellness, and administration. The company places emphasis on hospitality excellence, employee development, cultural awareness, ethical business practices, and creating memorable experiences for guests. A finance service leader contributes behind the scenes by protecting revenue quality, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the hotel’s overall commercial performance.
The Philippines offers hospitality opportunities in Manila, Cebu, Boracay, Palawan, Bohol, and other resort destinations, with demand for finance, hotel operations, culinary, wellness, and guest-service professionals. Filipino culture is generally warm, family-oriented, sociable, and respectful, while English is widely used in workplaces. Island living can provide beaches, outdoor activities, and a relaxed lifestyle, although transport, healthcare access, internet reliability, and living costs vary considerably by location. Boracay and Palawan are popular but can be seasonal and more expensive than provincial cities. Foreign nationals normally need an employer-sponsored work permit and appropriate visa, while Filipino applicants may relocate internally without immigration requirements. Candidates should confirm accommodation, meals, transportation, medical coverage, service charges, and relocation assistance before accepting an offer. Weather is tropical, with a dry season and a rainy season that may bring typhoons in some regions.
