The Service Leader – Customer Sales / Guest Service Center supports guest inquiries, reservations, sales conversion, and service requests through telephone and digital channels. Requirements typically include hospitality, tourism, reservations, or customer service experience; strong spoken and written English; good computer and property-management-system skills; and the ability to manage multiple requests accurately. The candidate is expected to provide warm, professional service, understand hotel facilities and room products, meet sales and quality targets, resolve concerns efficiently, and coordinate closely with Front Office, Reservations, and other departments. Flexibility for shifts, weekends, and holidays is essential. Supervisory experience and knowledge of Shangri-La standards or similar luxury-hotel operations would be advantageous.
Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts is a leading luxury hospitality group founded in Hong Kong, with hotels, resorts, and residences across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, North America, and other international markets. The group is recognized for refined service, comfortable accommodations, destination resorts, and its signature Asian hospitality philosophy. Shangri-La properties in the Philippines serve both leisure and business travelers and commonly offer rooms, restaurants, meeting facilities, wellness services, and guest activities. Employees generally work in structured, service-focused environments with formal operating standards and opportunities for hospitality training and career development. The company looks for people who are courteous, dependable, commercially aware, and committed to creating memorable guest experiences.
The Philippines offers hospitality opportunities in Metro Manila, Cebu, Boracay, Palawan, Davao, and other resort destinations. Hotels, restaurants, cruise-related businesses, travel companies, and tourism services regularly recruit customer-service, reservations, food-and-beverage, engineering, and housekeeping staff. Filipino workplace culture is generally warm, relationship-oriented, and respectful, with English widely used in professional settings. Lifestyle varies from busy urban living in Manila to a more relaxed coastal pace in Cebu, Boracay, or Palawan; transport and traffic can be challenging in major cities. Filipino citizens can work without a visa. Foreign employees normally need an employer-sponsored Alien Employment Permit and appropriate work visa before starting employment. Relocating candidates should budget for housing, transport, medical cover, and document processing, and confirm location, accommodation, schedules, and benefits directly with the employer.
