The Manager/Senior Manager, Digital Acquisition is expected to lead Shangri-La’s digital customer-acquisition strategy in Hong Kong. Responsibilities typically include developing paid search, social media, display, affiliate and other performance-marketing campaigns; managing agency and platform relationships; optimizing budgets and conversion rates; tracking customer journeys; and reporting acquisition, revenue and return-on-investment results. Candidates should have a degree in marketing, business, communications or a related field, with substantial experience in digital marketing, e-commerce or performance acquisition. Strong analytical, campaign-management and stakeholder-communication skills are essential, together with familiarity with analytics, marketing-automation and advertising platforms. Hospitality or luxury-brand experience, commercial awareness, creativity and the ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment would be advantageous.
Shangri-La Group is a Hong Kong-founded luxury hospitality company operating hotels, resorts and related businesses across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, North America and other international markets. Its portfolio includes the Shangri-La, Kerry, JEN and Traders brands, serving business and leisure guests through premium accommodation, dining, meetings, wellness and resort experiences. The group is known for Asian-inspired hospitality, personalized service and strong destination presence. Its Hong Kong operations include well-established luxury properties serving local, regional and international travelers. Employees generally work in a multicultural environment with opportunities across hotel operations, corporate functions, commercial strategy, technology and guest experience. The company continues to invest in digital platforms, loyalty, direct booking and data-led marketing, making digital acquisition an important area for growth and customer engagement.
Hong Kong is a compact, highly connected city with a major island district, Kowloon and the New Territories, combining dense urban neighborhoods with beaches, hiking trails and outlying islands. It offers opportunities in hospitality, finance, technology, retail, aviation, professional services and digital marketing. Cantonese is widely used, while English is common in business and international companies; Mandarin is also valuable. Life is energetic and convenient, with excellent public transport, diverse food, safe streets and extensive shopping, although housing is expensive and space is limited. Foreign professionals normally require an employment visa, commonly through the General Employment Policy, with employer sponsorship and proof that the role, qualifications and salary meet requirements. Dependants may usually apply for dependent visas. Candidates should budget for rental deposits, healthcare, transport and relocation costs, and confirm visa, tax and employment conditions with Shangri-La and Hong Kong authorities before moving.
