Shangri-La is a luxury hospitality group founded in Hong Kong and known for its hotels, resorts, residences, and related businesses across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, North America, and other international markets. Its properties are recognized for personalized service, comfortable surroundings, strong local connections, and the brand promise of genuine care. Service Leaders are expected to support operational excellence while creating welcoming and memorable experiences for guests.
The Philippines offers hospitality opportunities in Manila, Cebu, Boracay, Palawan, Davao, and other tourism centers. Resort islands provide jobs in restaurants, hotels, diving, wellness, housekeeping, events, and guest services, while major cities offer broader corporate and hotel careers. Filipino culture is warm, family-oriented, and community-minded; English is widely used in workplaces, and respectful, friendly communication is highly valued. Island living can offer beaches, outdoor activities, and a relaxed lifestyle, although transport, healthcare access, internet reliability, and living costs vary by location. Foreign employees normally need an employer-sponsored work permit and appropriate visa, commonly arranged through the company and Philippine authorities before or after arrival. Applicants should confirm salary, accommodation, meals, transport, medical coverage, contract terms, and relocation support. Local employees generally need valid identification, tax registration, and standard employment documents. Weather is tropical, with a rainy season and occasional typhoons.
