About the employer

SATS Ltd is a Singapore-headquartered provider of food solutions and gateway services, supporting airlines, airports, hospitality businesses and other customers across Asia and international markets. Its activities include airline catering, food manufacturing, cargo handling, passenger services, logistics and aviation-related ground operations. The company operates in a highly regulated environment where food safety, security, reliability and service quality are central to its work. SATS employs a large, diverse workforce across operational, technical, customer service and corporate functions. In Singapore, employees commonly work in airport, catering or logistics facilities, often with rotating shifts depending on the business unit. The company offers opportunities for people interested in aviation, supply chains, hospitality, food production and operational excellence.

Working in Singapore

Singapore is a compact, highly connected island city with strong opportunities in aviation, logistics, hospitality, food services, technology and finance. SATS roles are commonly based around Changi Airport and nearby logistics or catering facilities, with convenient access by MRT, bus and taxi. The culture is multicultural, organised and generally safety-conscious; English is widely used at work. Life is modern and efficient, although rent can be expensive, especially near central areas. Public transport is excellent, healthcare is accessible and daily services are convenient. Foreign employees usually need an employer-sponsored work pass, such as an Employment Pass, S Pass or Work Permit, depending on qualifications, salary and occupation. Candidates should secure a job offer before relocating, check pass eligibility, budget for housing and understand shift-work transport arrangements. Singapore’s warm, humid climate and diverse food scene are important lifestyle considerations.
