The role supports the design, coordination and delivery of capability-building programmes for SATS operations teams. Responsibilities may include identifying training needs, developing learning materials, coordinating assessments, tracking competency and training records, and working with operational leaders to improve workforce performance. Candidates are generally expected to have a diploma or degree in business, human resources, training, operations or a related discipline, together with relevant experience in learning and development, operations support or service industries. Strong communication, facilitation, organisation and stakeholder-management skills are important. The successful candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced airport environment, managing multiple projects and using data or feedback to improve training effectiveness. Experience in aviation, ground handling, hospitality, logistics or workforce capability development would be advantageous.
SATS Ltd is a Singapore-headquartered provider of gateway services and food solutions, serving airlines, airports, hospitality businesses and other customers across Asia and international markets. Its gateway services include ground handling, cargo handling, passenger services, aviation security and related airport operations. Through its food solutions business, SATS provides catering, food distribution and commercial food services for airlines, institutions and businesses. The company operates in a people-intensive, safety-critical environment where service quality, operational reliability and regulatory compliance are central to its work. SATS employs a diverse workforce across multiple countries and offers careers in airport operations, engineering, customer service, logistics, culinary services, corporate functions and training. The company’s Singapore operations are closely connected with Changi Airport and the wider aviation and travel ecosystem.
Singapore offers strong opportunities in aviation, airport services, logistics, hospitality, technology, finance, healthcare and multinational companies. The culture is multicultural, organised and generally fast-paced, with English widely used at work. Residents enjoy excellent public transport, reliable infrastructure, diverse food, shopping, parks and easy access to nearby Asian destinations. Housing can be expensive, especially in central areas, although public transport makes living farther from the city practical. Foreign professionals normally need an Employment Pass or S Pass sponsored by an employer; eligibility depends on salary, qualifications, experience and current government requirements. Employers usually guide successful candidates through the application process. New arrivals should budget for rent, a deposit, transport, healthcare and daily expenses, and should verify employment terms before relocating. Singapore is safe and convenient, but its humid climate and relatively high cost of living require adjustment. Family relocation may involve separate dependent-pass requirements.
