DHL is a global logistics and supply-chain company operating in more than 220 countries and territories. It provides express delivery, freight transportation, contract logistics, warehousing, e-commerce fulfillment, and supply-chain management services. DHL Global Forwarding, the division most relevant to this position, manages international air and ocean freight, customs coordination, multimodal transport, and complex customer logistics programs. The company is part of DHL Group and is widely recognized for its international network, technology investment, sustainability initiatives, and structured career development. In the Philippines, DHL supports importers, exporters, manufacturers, retailers, and multinational customers through offices, logistics facilities, and transportation partnerships. Employees commonly work in collaborative, internationally connected teams, with strong emphasis on compliance, service quality, operational performance, customer retention, and profitable growth.
The Philippines offers opportunities in logistics, freight forwarding, shared services, manufacturing, technology, tourism, healthcare, and customer operations. Manila and nearby business districts have the widest range of corporate and supply-chain roles, while Cebu and Clark also provide growing logistics and service-sector markets. Filipino culture is generally welcoming, family-oriented, English-friendly, and relationship-driven. Lifestyle costs vary considerably: Manila offers convenience but heavier traffic and higher rent, while Cebu, Clark, and provincial areas can be more relaxed and affordable. Foreign professionals usually need an employer-sponsored Alien Employment Permit and a 9(g) pre-arranged employment visa, subject to immigration approval; requirements can change, so official government guidance is essential. Local hires do not need work visas. Relocation planning should cover housing, healthcare, transportation, insurance, taxes, and typhoon-season preparedness.
