Working in Australia

Australia offers airport, aviation, logistics, tourism, mining and regional-service jobs, with strong opportunities in Perth, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and regional centres. Workplace culture is generally practical, safety-focused and relatively informal, with emphasis on punctuality, teamwork and clear communication. Lifestyle varies from vibrant cities and beaches to quieter regional communities; living costs can be high, especially in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. Foreign workers usually need an appropriate visa, such as an employer-sponsored, skilled, working holiday or temporary graduate visa. Aviation roles may also require security clearances, identity checks, licences and drug-and-alcohol screening. Relocating involves arranging accommodation, tax and banking details, health insurance where required, transport, and proof of work rights. Applicants should check official Australian immigration guidance and the employer’s eligibility requirements before accepting an offer.
