Working in United Arab Emirates

The United Arab Emirates is not an island but a federation of seven emirates, with Abu Dhabi as its capital. Hospitality, aviation, retail, tourism, construction, healthcare and technology provide many employment opportunities, especially for people with customer service or hotel experience. UAE culture combines Islamic traditions, Emirati heritage and a highly international population; modest dress and respectful behavior are expected in public and at work. Abu Dhabi offers modern apartments, shopping malls, beaches, parks and year-round sunshine, although summers are extremely hot. Employers commonly sponsor work visas for overseas employees, arrange medical testing and provide Emirates ID processing. Confirm whether accommodation, transport, meals, insurance and annual flights are included before accepting an offer. Bring certified documents, a valid passport and relevant employment records. Employees should never work on a tourist visa and should verify contracts through official UAE channels.
