Working in United Arab Emirates

The United Arab Emirates offers strong employment opportunities in hospitality, tourism, construction, retail, aviation, logistics, technology, and business services, particularly in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The culture combines Emirati traditions with a highly international population; respectful dress, polite conduct, and awareness of Islamic customs are important. Lifestyle can be modern and energetic, with excellent restaurants, shopping, beaches, desert activities, and public transport, although summer heat is intense and living costs can be high. Foreign employees generally need an employer-sponsored residence visa and work permit, with the company commonly arranging medical testing, Emirates ID, and related processing. Before relocating, confirm salary, accommodation, transport, insurance, annual leave, probation terms, and repatriation benefits. Employees should not work for another employer without appropriate legal authorization.
