About the employer

Khao Lak Marriott Beach Resort & Spa is a luxury beachfront resort in Phang Nga, southern Thailand, operating under the Marriott International portfolio. The resort is designed for leisure travelers, families, groups and destination events, offering accommodation, restaurants, recreation, wellness facilities and access to the Andaman coast. As a Marriott property, it follows the group’s global standards for guest service, colleague development, operational quality and responsible hospitality. The resort’s location in Khao Lak combines a relaxed coastal setting with proximity to national parks, beaches and marine attractions. Employees typically work in a multicultural hotel environment and may receive benefits such as meals, uniforms, transport or accommodation support, service charge eligibility, training and Marriott associate travel privileges, depending on the employment package and local policy.

Working in Thailand

Thailand offers hospitality opportunities across Phuket, Koh Samui, Koh Phangan, Koh Tao, Krabi, Khao Lak and other coastal destinations. Jobs are common in hotels, resorts, restaurants, diving, wellness, events, sales and guest services, with stronger hiring during the high season from November to April. Local culture values politeness, respect, calm communication and sensitivity toward Buddhism and community customs. Island life is scenic and social but can be seasonal, humid and more expensive in popular tourist areas; transport and healthcare may also be limited on smaller islands. Foreign employees normally need an employer-sponsored Non-Immigrant B visa and a Thai work permit before legally working. Employers often assist with documentation, although requirements vary by nationality and role. Candidates should confirm salary, service charge, accommodation, meals, insurance, contract terms and relocation support before accepting an offer.
