Working in United Arab Emirates

The United Arab Emirates is a modern Gulf country rather than an island, offering extensive opportunities in hotels, restaurants, tourism, retail, aviation, events, and entertainment. Dubai has a highly international culture, with English widely used in the workplace and people from many nationalities living there. The lifestyle combines beaches, shopping, dining, desert activities, theme parks, and a busy urban environment, although summers are extremely hot. Employees should respect local customs, dress appropriately in public areas, and observe UAE laws concerning alcohol, conduct, and social media. For most overseas hospitality hires, the employer arranges an employment visa, work permit, medical examination, and Emirates ID. Many resorts provide accommodation or an allowance, meals, transport, health insurance, and annual leave. Candidates should confirm the full package, working hours, service charges, and recruitment costs before relocating.
