The F&B Trainee supports restaurant, bar, banquet and room-service operations at The St. Regis Mardavall Mallorca Resort. Typical responsibilities include welcoming guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, preparing service areas, following hygiene and safety procedures, and assisting the wider food-and-beverage team. Candidates are generally expected to have hospitality or tourism studies, a genuine interest in luxury guest service, professional presentation, teamwork, flexibility and willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays. Spanish and English are highly useful; additional languages are an advantage. Previous experience may be helpful but is not always essential for a trainee position. The successful candidate should be organized, courteous, eager to learn and comfortable working in a busy international resort.
The St. Regis Mardavall Mallorca Resort is a luxury resort in Costa d’en Blanes, Mallorca, known for refined accommodation, Mediterranean surroundings, personalized service and upscale dining and wellness facilities. The property operates under the St. Regis Hotels & Resorts brand, part of Marriott International, one of the world’s largest hospitality companies. St. Regis hotels are recognized for formal service, elegant environments, signature rituals and highly personalized guest experiences. Employees typically work with international guests and colleagues while following Marriott’s service, safety and professional standards. As a resort property, operations are closely connected to seasonal tourism, with opportunities across food and beverage, rooms, spa, guest services and events. A trainee role can provide practical experience, structured learning and a pathway into hospitality careers within Marriott or other international hotels.
Mallorca is the largest of Spain’s Balearic Islands and offers strong employment opportunities in hotels, restaurants, tourism, retail, events, maritime activities and wellness. The culture combines Spanish and Mallorcan traditions, relaxed Mediterranean living, local markets, festivals and an active outdoor lifestyle. Summers are busy and warm, while winters are quieter and many tourism roles are seasonal. Rent and accommodation can be expensive in popular coastal areas, so staff housing, shared accommodation or living outside resort districts may be worth exploring. EU, EEA and Swiss citizens can generally work in Spain after completing local registration requirements. Non-EU applicants normally need an employer-supported work permit or an appropriate visa before starting employment. Applicants should confirm contract terms, accommodation, transport, insurance and visa support directly with the employer. Spanish is valuable for daily life, although English is widely used in tourism.
