Knowledge of food hygiene, responsible alcohol service and basic English communication would be advantageous.
Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay is a luxury beachfront resort located on Fiji’s main island, Viti Levu, approximately 45 minutes from Nadi International Airport. It is part of Marriott International, one of the world’s largest hospitality companies, with a broad portfolio of hotels and resorts worldwide. The resort offers accommodation, restaurants and bars, event facilities, spa services, recreational activities and access to a private lagoon. Its operation depends on warm, attentive service and strong teamwork across guest-facing and support departments. Employees may gain experience in an international resort environment while working with guests from many countries. Benefits and employment conditions vary by contract and may include meals, uniforms, transport assistance, staff accommodation or service-charge participation.
Fiji offers hospitality, tourism, food and beverage, housekeeping, engineering, marine activities and retail opportunities, especially around Nadi, Denarau, Coral Coast and Suva. Fijian culture is welcoming and community-oriented, with strong traditions of family, respect, music, church and shared meals. Resort life can be rewarding but busy, with warm weather, beaches, water sports and outdoor activities; living costs can be high in tourist areas, and transport may be limited outside towns. Foreign applicants generally need an employer-sponsored work permit before starting employment, and approval depends on the role, qualifications and local labour requirements. Relocation usually involves arranging a valid passport, medical checks, police clearance, accommodation and travel insurance. Applicants should confirm salary, service charges, housing, meals, transport and visa responsibility directly with the employer.
