Working in United Arab Emirates

The United Arab Emirates is not an island, but it offers coastal resort living, especially in Fujairah, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah. Hospitality creates opportunities in hotels, restaurants, recreation, childcare, housekeeping, food and beverage, and guest services. Life is modern, convenient and multicultural, with excellent shopping, transport, healthcare and entertainment. UAE culture values respect, modesty, hospitality and awareness of local Islamic customs; dress appropriately in public and follow workplace regulations. Summers are extremely hot, while winters are pleasant and popular for outdoor activities. Employers commonly sponsor an employment visa, work permit, medical examination and Emirates ID for approved hires. Confirm the full package, including accommodation, meals, transport, insurance, flights and leave, before relocating. Fujairah offers a quieter, more relaxed lifestyle than Dubai, with beaches, mountains and diving nearby. Candidates should budget for personal expenses and never pay recruitment fees.
