About the employer

Aloft Abu Dhabi is a contemporary, select-service hotel located near Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre and connected to the prestigious ADNEC complex. It operates under the Aloft brand, part of Marriott International, one of the world’s largest hospitality companies. Aloft hotels are designed for modern, socially minded travellers, combining stylish accommodation with technology-focused services, vibrant public spaces, casual dining and entertainment. The Abu Dhabi property serves business travellers, event guests, tourists and visitors attending exhibitions and conferences. As a Marriott-managed or affiliated workplace, employees may benefit from structured hospitality standards, international career opportunities, training programmes and associate travel benefits, subject to company policy. The hotel’s finance team supports daily operations by maintaining accurate records, controlling revenue and ensuring that payments from guests, companies and business partners are properly managed.

Working in United Arab Emirates

The United Arab Emirates is not an island but a federation of seven emirates, with Abu Dhabi and Dubai offering the widest range of hospitality, tourism, finance and business opportunities. The country has a diverse expatriate population, modern infrastructure and a culture that blends Islamic traditions with an international lifestyle. Employees should dress respectfully, observe local customs and understand rules concerning alcohol, photography and public behaviour. Abu Dhabi is generally quieter and more family-oriented than Dubai, with beaches, shopping centres, cultural attractions and desert activities. Accommodation, transport and health insurance should be checked carefully in the employment package. Most overseas employees require an employer-sponsored residence visa, work permit and medical screening; working on a tourist visa is not permitted. Employers commonly arrange visa processing, while dependants may require separate sponsorship. Living costs vary considerably, and candidates should confirm salary, service charges, accommodation, meals, airfare, annual leave and end-of-service benefits before relocating.
