About the employer

Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral is a contemporary lifestyle hotel located beside KL Sentral, Kuala Lumpur’s main transport hub. It operates under the Aloft brand, part of Marriott International, one of the world’s largest hospitality companies. Aloft hotels are designed for modern, connected travellers and typically offer stylish rooms, social public spaces, restaurants, bars, fitness facilities, and technology-focused services. The Kuala Lumpur property serves business travellers, tourists, and event guests, with convenient rail connections to the airport, city centre, and major attractions. Employees benefit from working within an international hotel group that provides structured operating standards, training opportunities, and potential career mobility across Marriott properties. The hotel environment is fast-paced and multicultural, requiring strong teamwork, consistent guest service, and attention to quality.

Working in Malaysia

Malaysia offers hospitality opportunities in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Langkawi, Sabah, Sarawak, and other resort destinations. Hotels, restaurants, spas, tourism companies, and event venues regularly recruit both experienced staff and entry-level employees. Malaysian culture is multicultural, combining Malay, Chinese, Indian, and indigenous influences, with English widely used in tourism and business. Kuala Lumpur provides an urban lifestyle, efficient public transport, shopping, dining, and relatively affordable living compared with many international cities. Island and resort locations offer beaches, outdoor activities, and a slower pace, though transport and housing can be more limited. Foreign nationals generally need a valid employment pass or related work authorisation, normally arranged and sponsored by the employer before starting work. Candidates should confirm salary, accommodation, medical coverage, contract terms, and visa responsibilities before relocating.
