About the employer

Hotel Alfonso XIII, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Seville, is one of Spain’s most recognised luxury hotels and a landmark property in the heart of Seville. The hotel combines historic architecture, Andalusian design, refined dining, elegant guest rooms, and high-end event facilities. It serves leisure travellers, luxury tour groups, corporate clients, weddings, and international meetings. As part of Marriott International’s Luxury Collection, the property benefits from global commercial reach, established sales networks, professional training, and access to Marriott’s international hospitality systems. The hotel places strong emphasis on personalised service, cultural character, guest experiences, and maintaining its prestigious reputation. Sales employees work with local and international partners to position the property for accommodation, conferences, celebrations, and destination travel while coordinating closely with other hotel departments.

Working in Spain Islands

Spain’s main island destinations include Mallorca, Ibiza, Menorca, Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, and Fuerteventura. Tourism creates opportunities in hotels, resorts, restaurants, events, sales, guest services, recreation, wellness, and transport, with seasonal demand particularly strong from spring through autumn. Island life offers a relaxed outdoor lifestyle, beaches, water sports, warm weather, and close-knit communities, although popular areas can be expensive and busy during peak season. Spanish is important for daily life and many local roles, while English, German, and other languages are valuable in hospitality. EU citizens can work without a visa; non-EU nationals generally need an employer-sponsored work permit or another valid residence route. Candidates should arrange accommodation early, check transport links, understand seasonal contracts, and confirm salary against local rents. Seville is on mainland Spain, so relocation to an island would require separate employer confirmation.
