Working in United Arab Emirates

The United Arab Emirates is not an island, but it is a popular destination for hospitality careers, particularly in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Opportunities are available in hotels, restaurants, resorts, events, housekeeping, food and beverage, engineering, and administration. The culture is multicultural and influenced by Arab and Islamic traditions; modest dress, courtesy, and respect for local customs are important. Dubai offers a modern, fast-paced lifestyle, excellent public transport, shopping, beaches, and international communities, although housing and leisure costs can be high. Employers normally sponsor an employment visa, work permit, medical examination, and Emirates ID for eligible overseas hires. Candidates should confirm whether accommodation, transport, meals, insurance, airfare, and annual leave are included. Bring attested documents where required, budget for initial expenses, and never work on a tourist visa.
