The F&B Reservations Officer manages dining reservations, guest enquiries, table availability and booking changes for the hotel’s restaurants and outlets. Candidates should have hospitality or customer-service experience, strong communication skills, good telephone etiquette and confidence using reservation or hotel systems. Fluency in English is generally required; additional languages are an advantage. The role requires accuracy, organisation and the ability to remain calm during busy periods. The successful candidate is expected to provide warm, professional service, recommend suitable dining options, coordinate closely with restaurant teams and maintain accurate booking records. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays is important.

Singapore is a compact, highly developed island city with strong opportunities in hospitality, tourism, aviation, retail, finance and technology. Hotel roles are available across front office, food and beverage, housekeeping, culinary operations and events, although competition can be strong. The culture is multicultural, orderly and fast-paced, with English widely used at work alongside Mandarin, Malay and Tamil. Public transport is excellent, and residents enjoy safe neighbourhoods, diverse food, shopping, parks and easy regional travel. Singapore has a hot, humid climate throughout the year. Foreign nationals generally need an employer-sponsored work pass, such as an S Pass or Employment Pass, and approval depends on salary, qualifications and government requirements. Secure a written job offer before relocating, and budget carefully because rent and daily living costs can be high. Staff accommodation is not always provided.
