Working in United Arab Emirates

The United Arab Emirates is not an island, but Dubai offers a coastal lifestyle with beaches, marinas and easy access to nearby islands and resorts. Hospitality creates regular opportunities in hotels, restaurants, tourism, events, housekeeping and leisure, especially in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The culture is multicultural and welcoming, while Islamic traditions, modest public behavior and local laws should be respected. Life is modern and convenient, though accommodation, transport and summer heat are important considerations. Most overseas employees need an employer-sponsored employment visa; the company commonly arranges entry approval, medical testing, Emirates ID and residency processing. Candidates should confirm salary, accommodation, meals, transport, working hours, probation and leave before accepting an offer. Bring educational or employment documents where requested, use official recruitment channels and never pay substantial recruitment fees. Dubai has excellent public transport, international communities and many recreational activities, but relocation costs and document authentication should be planned in advance.
